Born in 1973, Jason Karakehian grew up in Blackstone, Massachusetts. In 1996, Jason earned a BA in sculpture and art history from Framingham State College and has since continued his education with courses at Massachusetts College of Art and Harvard Extension School. In the summer of 2001, he received a full scholarship to attend Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina. His work is in private collections throughout New England and currently exhibits his sculpture in public outdoor venues across the region. Jason is a member of the Sculptor's Workshop in Boston, Massachusetts.
